Dear People, i am looking for a good circuit to do a V/I converter, to get a 0-5 Voltios DC from a 4-20 mA. If you have any suggestion, please sent me any information about that.

there are specific circuits that meet all the 4-20 requirements, but just running the current into a feedback op amp will generate a voltage output.

A 250 ohm resistor won’t work for either 4mA or 20mA.
How about a schottky diode?

Logbook,

4mA X 250 ohms = 1 volt
20mA X 250 ohm = 5 volts

Now to get 0-5 volts, first add -1 volts and then apply gain of 1.25.

See Art of Electronics or any good op amp text.

Circuit1952,
unfortunately I mis-read the requirement as 0.5V, not 0V to 5V. A schottky diode would have worked well for that! Sorry :-(
