v4 to v5 filenames

The problem I am having is when I view files from the v4 enviroment(unix) and try and load them in v5 (PC-NT), many files will not load because the unix characters are not supported. Does anyone out there have a PC program that will either rename an entire dir or multiple files so I don't have to go in and re-type evey file I get. Sometimes I get an entire program containg hundreds of model files and it takes up to much of my time re-nameing each and every one of them.

If you use FTP to copy the files from UNIX to NT the problem should not occur, ensure it is done with the binary switch set to on.

If you will use V4 - > V5 Batch Migration method all not supported symbols will be automatically converted to "_".
With this method it is possible to convert several files simultaneously. Unfortunately, this method not always gives good result. Igor Jogla
