I have an assembly (approx 15 parts) of which i need to generate various views. I have generated front and top views and from the top view I have generated an 'OFFSET SECTION VIEW' along the centre of the assembly.
This works fine, gives me the centre profile and all of the geometry behind the view plane.
I also require a section view of the cut profile only, a 'SECTION CUT' in V4 terminology, and I have attempted to generate this using 'OFFSET SECTION CUT', using the same line as the first section view.
When the view generates there is no geometry, only the view name, and a large red cross.
Anyone have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?
