V5 R12 problem

V5 R12 was working fine on Aix 4.3.3 but we moved are systems to AIX 5.1 and now v5 launches but when i pick any of the features ( part design, sketcher ) i get a command Interrupted error message and nothing happens. Is there a patch for the v5 that i need or a patch for the OS. If so could you give me the number so i can download it.

Support of AIX V5.1 operating system is announced for:

CATIA Version 5 Releae 8
ENOVIA VPM Version 1 Release 5
ENOVIA LCA Version 5 Release 8
ENOVIA DMU Version 5 Release 8
ENOVIA 3dCom Version 5 Release 8
and higher releases of these products.

Support of the CATIA and ENOVIA product lines on AIX V5.1 requires:

AIX V5.1 ML_02
C Set ++ Runtime for AIX 5.0 at level 5.0.2.7 (C Set ++ Runtime 5.0.2 is shipped with AIX V5.1 ML2, and upgraded at level 5.0.2.7 with PTF for APAR IY31759)
XL Fortran Runtime Environment at level 7.1.0.2
PTFs for following APARS:
IY27268
IY30253
IY31917 (available Aug 14)
IY31759
IY32718 (available Aug 14)
IY32564 (available Aug 14)
IY32170 (available Aug 14)

To my awareness, people running AIX5.1 usually are now on
ML_04 at least.

this is correct but you also need to do this to

- Remove xlfrte.aix43 XL Fortran Runtime Environment for AIX 4.3
Libraries
- Install xlfrte.aix51 XL Fortran Runtime Environment for AIX 5.1
Libraries

- The present level of xlsmp.rte is 1.3.3.0 SMP Runtime Library
- Update xlsmp.rte to at least 1.3.4.0 SMP Runtime Library

- Install APAR IY31759 and the rest of APAR IY32718


now it works fine
