Noob to the forums and to vacuum infusion. I have recently started in on doing some carbon fiber with the lay up technique and need to venture into vacuum infusion.

Other than the CF what other materials and what layered order do I lay them?

Bottom to top -

1. Carbon fiber
2. Peel ply?
3. Flow media mesh?
4. vacuum bag

Sure there is something missing.

Thanks

Wow a week and no reply. I guess these forums are dead as I highly doubt this is a difficult question. Oh well. Thanks anyways

Your question is way too broad. The forum is for engineering tips not how-to manuals. If you get one of 100 details wrong, your infusion will fail.

Well if it was to broad then a friendly reply asking for more info or such would have been helpful at least. Its cool. No worries.

Use glass fiber cloth until your process is worked out; no sense making garbaage with carbon.

Crank up your Google.
You can actually learn a lot from five million stories about making cold air induction tubes.
