Validating Scan Data

Hi Users,

I'm curious to know how you validate scan data? Our intent is to scan parts, take the profiles, point clouds, etc., them make a paramentric parts. If I have a bunch of imported curves & points, how can I make my model parametric, assuring that my scan curves & points are driving the parmetrics?

Using NX.7.5
I was thinking I could insert hole center points into NX Excel, but how can I use that to drive point locations?
