Hay to all!

Do you have some experiences by applying a clean laser system for cast valve cleaning (inside)?
Are there some suggestions?
How good can you clean the cast? Do you remove all dirtiness?
Any input is welcome!

Thx

I use a ultrasonic bath. Does not require scrubbing but rinse with jet water after. Clean down to the pore:) Using laser on larger surface areas can take longer to clean and may not produce desired results.

I go with @AzriHms, most of the castings are cleaned to the extent of specifications by ultrasonic bath. At the same time, i am curious to understand more on laser cleaning and limitations.

As hsbcn says, it depends why you are cleaning in the first place?
Are you having a a clean service or an explosive fluid?
Depending on the answer to that some standards mandate the method of cleaning, e.g. EIGA for various gases...
Maybe if you’re that worried about cleaning the surface you want to take the part out of bar or a forging as per the valves for the food and other allied industries??
