Valves with CS body and CRA (other than SS316) trim 2

I have observed our client has used valves with CS body and Duplex SS/SDSS/Alloy 825 trim. Generally manufacturers may recommend DSS/SDSS/ALloy 825 etc grades for valve trim incase they need more strength or torque however from corrosion stand point, can it be justifies using such valves?

in a corrosive service, generalised corrosion at a low rate maybe acceptable for pressure casing but valve internals usually need geometric dimension stability to ensure seal and correct functionning, thus a more noble material can be justified for some parts

Look at it this way, if the ball, seats, and stem are CRA, then corrosion of the body is of little concern as long as it is relatively slow. The CRA trim will assure that the valve seals.

Just take this with simple Logic.
Valve trim material should be of concern as Corrosion is mainly due to the fluid/wetted parts.

What are the conditions that the valve is subjected to?

Am I right saying, using carbon steel with 825 cladding?
