Variable Friction Coefficient

I have a situation where the friction coefficient increases linearly until it reaches its final, steady-state value.
There is also difference in the friction coefficient values with different temperatures.
Is there a way to input coefficient values like that? (i.e. essentially changing with contact force). I can see how to enter temperature-dependent coefficients in the penalty tab of tangential behaviour but not load-dependent.

In the penalty tab of tangential behavior see 'use contact-pressure-dependent data. I have never used both dependencies but would assume that Abaqus makes a linear response surface based on the inputs provided. The user manual likely goes into more depth.

In the Abaqus/CAE manual '15.14.1 Defining a contact interaction property' may be a good starting point.

If the dependence get very complicated you should be able to use the FRIC user subroutine as well, though Rob's suggestion is definitely the preferred way.
