hi, we have air flow and temprature problems in our plant MCC's room.
1. Currently we have one fan feeding outside air in via ducting. The air is very wet and hummid. This causes the VSD's to fail in some instances.
2. The temperature is also very high and this also causes VSD's to overheat. This causes the VSD's to go into protection mode or even fail causing unnecesary downtime.
3. Currently we allso have 2 Big UPS in this MCC room. We already had to replace one of them due to this. i want to design a better system to solve this problem but dont know were to start can someone please help me to start this project?

It would be helpful if you told us what MCC, VSD means.
We need to know the room heat output, the outside temperature,
the room dimensions, the walls , the surrounding temperatures outside the room, the number of people in the room, etc
And finally, the room temperature requirements.

Don't you have an aircon?
In our plant there's an aircon keeping the desired temperature in the MCC and we have no problems, if you will be more specific (what do you mean by airflow problems,..) maybe I'll be able to help you with that.

p.s. in our plant the UPS room is located seperately from the MCC.

zekeman, ups means Management/Motor Control Center

VSD means Veraible Speed Drive and MCC means Main Control Center. what i need to know is: the intake air is wet, what air conditioning system can i use to get clean dry air in this room

The marvelous thing about A/C is that it can take wet air and magically condense it to get dry air and as a bonus you cool down the room.
Basically, the principle is it cools the high humidity air down to low temperatures where the air cannot hold the moisture which drops out at the low temperature and then when it mixes with ambient warmer air it becomes dry and cool.
