Sorry if I'm not in the correct sub-forum here (having a bit of trouble finding my way on this forum)

I received a step file today that, apparently, was drawn in Vertex G4 Plant.
I'm not familiar with Vertex G4 (actually I've never even heard of it). Our department mainly works with Plant 3D and occasionally E3D (PDMS).

Anyone here with Vertex G4Plant experience?

Any specific pro's and cons for Vertex as to regular Plant design software, like Plant 3D?

Hmm..

The lack of feedback here...
The lack of general online information...
The lack of any form of response from the developer (I've contacted them over a week ago)...

doesn't go in favour of Vertex G4

Not one I've ever heard of and seems to be Finnish / Baltic countries / Russian in the main.

Their main website is a bit lacking in details.

Probably not bad if the Finns developed it, but just doesn't have that mass of users that Bentley and ACAD have developed.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
