Greetings All,
I am a young engineer starting out in the noise & vibration consulting industry. I have already been on a few machinery vibration investigations and have written a few reports.
However, I feel my approach to problem solving has been a bit hap hazard, and am therefore looking for some literature and possible guidance on the proper approach to vibration investigations and analysis. Previous case studies of typical problems would be a great help.
I would also like some information on portable equipment for onsite data collection such as tape recorders or data acquistion cards. The last few investigations I have been to have been in very cramped environments and lugging a 2 channel FFT analyser around with me did not help.
Thanking you.
Cheers,
Siva.
