We are currently having molds built in China and they are using Vibratory Stress relief on the Core and Cavity blocks. These blocks are made out of p20, will we have any issues with the blocks after this method has been complete?

not very likely.

I used to work on the floor of a shop that built molds for huge facias on cars and truks (you would have a 25-30 ton cavity or core)

Never had a problem.

The machine usually prints out a graph...so make sure the graph is upto the specks (what the manufacturer of the machine recomends)

The only trick is, It has to be done right.

lot of times we would run it on each end of the mold, where the most material has been removed, (3 times on each end is recomended)
