Hello,

How to make View dependent Curves in model views (TFR ISO) to NON dependent? Check mate does not pass if Curves are View dependent.

Thanks in advance
Srikanth

I would like to explain it to you, but since I am not at work right now it is hard for me to do without NX in front of me.
Do you know why those curves are view-dependent ?

Not sure how they are View dependent. We ar now investigating, let you know If we find the reason

I tried to create "view dependent curves" in modeling but it wasn't even possible for me...
So now I'm thinking you might have the naming wrong?

Hello,
To make Srikanthaallu's question more clear I explaining the issue once again, when the checkmate is run for a model we are getting the error like "No view-dependent Geometry allowed checker". Can any one explain how to resolve this issue?

..."No view-dependent Geometry allowed checker"

The initial post seems to indicate that the view depenent curves are on the modeling side. Are they? Or are they only present in a drawing view?

Go to Information -> Object and select the curve indicated as being view dependent; please post the information below the header for us to have a look.

Go into the Drafting module.
View (pulldown) toggle Display sheet off
Edit (pull-down) -> View -> View dependent edit -> In the "convert dependecy" section of icons select view to model -> pick those curves that need need converted from view dependent to model -> OK
View (pulldown) toggle Display sheet back on

BTW, was this part imported into NX from some other CAD system?

Hello Jerry1423,
Your solution has worked for Nx8 also. Thanks for your valuable solution which saved my time.
