Has anyone come across software or any other solution to import a raster image into ug to be viewed on a drawing sheet. The application is artwork to be screen printed onto a moulding that needs to be displayed on the drawing as reference (no dimensioning of the artwork required).
I can get a raster image into modelling but can't view it as the image in drafting.
The only solution I can think of is to convert the raster image to a cgm via a bit of software.

Any comments would be much appreciated.

Cheers

What version og UG?

I think the latest, NX3, can do that.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

I'm using NX currently but I've got a copy of NX3 to install.
I've read on another thread that this could be done on NX2 but not ploted. Can you plot the image in NX3 now?

Cheers

Don't know for sure as I am locked on V18.
Try the internal UGS BBS.

The raster image(s) on an NX drawing can be plotted in NX3.
