I am looking for a hinge mounted on the back of a panel that will allow pivot front edge of panel. See attached image.

Hinge must be mounted on back not within panel like many consealed hinge.

Should be able to take horizontal moment load of about 10Nm . Opening 0-30 deg

I am guessing somee variation on type below: But I would like pivot point 70-100 mm in fornt of hinge mounting

Any pointers welcome.

Many thanks

Check out p/n 1995A1 from McMaster Carr.

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.

Thanks for pointers.

I need something bigger. I saw hinge for door of integrated domestic fridge which could pivot about 15mm offset from mounting comprising 5 links. I would need something scale up for 80 mm offset.

I suppose I could design my own but that sounds like work,

Sounds like a simple kinematics problem.
Maybe you should post a drawing of the hinge location and show a few positions of the panel.
I think we may be able to help you through it.

An unequal leg pantograph style mechanism may work for you as well. I had to do a project for a piece of hospital equipment once to pivot and offset a considerable distance in one smooth motion. Can't seem to find any pics or drawings of it though. Not something one buys off-the-shelf. I'll post later if I can find my files.
