I'm working on some hydraulic calculations for 2% PAC in water, 50% Aluminum Sulfate (Alum) in water and 8% sodium hypochlorite in water. I'm trying to determine whether I should use the Darcy-Weisbach equation or if I can get away with the Hazen-Williams. I looked at the MSDS sheets and even the chemicals that are delivered as liquids do not have a reported viscosity. I've also contacted the manufacturer of the chemicals and haven't heard back. Can anyone tell me a good reference place to get the viscosities for these chemicals? Thanks everyone!!
