I am currently working on a macro to automate mathcad input / output.

The problem i am having is that we need to save a copy of every mathcad sheet we produce with inputs and outputs.

I have achieved this by embedding an excel sheet into mathcad and using setcomplex, recalculate, getcomplex. However we are not permitted to use embedded excel sheets in our mathcad sheets.

setcomplex, recalculate, getcomplex can be used for normal variables but the values are not saved and on reopening the sheet all variable are 0.

Is there any other way to send data to mathcad via VB in a saveable format.

PS. we use mathcad 2001i professional.

Thanks.

There is probably a different way to accomplish what you want. However it is a commercial SW platform that my company produces and sells (low cost). The policy of this forum is not to allow commercially oriented posts, and I am a new member. So, if you still have interest (after 2 months), then please respond and we can arrange to discuss this offline.
