I'm doing a simple compression testing on a cylindrical sample and was analyzing the strain distribution on it. I see the various strain ranges on the sample differentiated by various colours. How can I calculate the volume of the sample material in a particular strain range?

Ya I have the isosurface plot option. Kindly explain me how to find the volume using the isosurace plot option. Thanks in advance.

Hello Kellnerp,

Thanks for the tip. Ya it was useful. I used the Capped Isosurface option. It shows the elaments with the same strain values. But can any one share how to find the volume of the material shown using capped isosurface? Thanks in advance.

Hello guys,

I used the Capped Isosurface option. It shows the elements with the same strain values. But can any one share how to find the volume of the material shown using capped isosurface? This help is urgently needed. Will be very thankful if some one can share his thoughts. Thanks in advance.
