Hi,

I am doing a Blow Moulding simulation in Polyflow in ANSYS Workbench 2021 R2. However, no matter what geometry I use and how I import it (.ipt, .stp, etc), I alway get a window with the following warning upon entering setup:

“Unable to create skeleton of the mesh

At least 2 boundaries per sub-domain are needed !”

I can close the window and do the setup, but I can’t see the results afterwards, so I really think I need to solve this warning to be able to see the results. Any suggestions on how to overcome this error?

Best regards,

You have listed solid model file formats. If the program is looking for a mesh format you may need to mesh in another program and import the mesh. If you have created a mesh you also need to specify an inlet and outlet for the system. Idont know the process for polyflow but in fluent you need to create a named selection on your extracted volume.
