I am a rookie engineer. Following are my questions that came to my head as I was reading (studying) a DWG (sketch really) for a Wash Water Drum involved in a refining project.
In a refining operation, what does Wash Water Drum do?
I see a corrosion allowance of 0.25" on the vessel - Is the environment and contents of the drum very corrosive?
What does a degassing vent do?
