I have a trivial question about fill rates for washing machines and dishwashers. Just another example of some of the stupid things you have to think about as an engineer. The project wants to meter process water, thus washing machines and dishwashers. The smallest water meter I could find that is rated for hot water is 1 GPM minimum. The manufacturer doesn't explicitly list the flow rates of the equipment (typical incomplete spec sheets). Can anyone provide advice on whether it a 1 GPM minimum water meter will work for an application of metering dishwasher and hot and cold supply lines to a washing machine? I was worried the flow might drop below that.

Seametrics has meters rated for hot water in standard meter sizes
a 3/4 meter is good down to 0.22 gpm at 1.5%.
