Does anyone know an online way to verify a PE in DC? For me I keep getting website errors for them, but not sure I am using right website.
Thanks

No. And last time I sent them a licensure/application inquiry, the only response was 8 months later when they said they were throwing out my application for inactivity.

I guess since the concentration of government is so high there, It makes sense nothing works right. All I want to do is see when my license expires, I dont have a record of it anywhere.

I called and their system is down. Cant look anything up.

Whats funny, is they would not entertain any sort of inquiry until you gave full name and email. I told her I dont have email. She said I need email.

Unbelievable.

Yeah it is a bit of an S show in DC, they recently "completed" a reorg making licensing a separate entity. 80% of the links for code enforcements either lead to a page errors or old information which can make permit comments fun to deal with.

Using the word "bit" seems to be a under-estimation.

I had to call them and "kiss up" like I've never kissed before.

XR250, I do have email, If they need to know my email so bad, they can look it up in my account. When I call them I dont need to give name, rank and email. Just help me with my question, then decided if you need my name.

She spent 2 mins writing down my name, reading it back, making sure its spelled correct. All I wanted to know is if their system was down. Its down. Thank you, good bye.

Big fustercluck over there, but they are getting better

It took me a year to get my PE approved.

I'd recommend calling or emailing. They've gotten back to me.

JStructsteel: for the license expiration believe everyone is on the same cycle so renewal would have been required in August at the latest and accompanied by the 20 hrs of CE credits with at least 1 hr in ethics.

There was no reduction of PDH's allowed for even though this cycle was only 1 yr long instead of 2 yrs due to the COVID response.

Oh Good Lord. Had my application in for 3 months now. This conversation doesn't bode well.

I renewed last year. Hopefully it was a 2 year deal then. I didn’t have it in my calendar to renew, not any notifications from them.
I did pay 155$ which seems to be the 2 year price.

I did call, no help as they use the same system that is down online.

yeah we all renewed last year since they deferred the 2020 renewal. They've been on 2 year (even) year cycle since I took my exam several years ago.

got it. So I will have to renew again in 2024 to get back on even years?

no they'll let you reactivate in 2023 and then just make you renew and pay again in 2024. I got burned on that with my exam since I passed it in an odd year I paid for that year then got hit with a new renewal 6 months later.

So I was able to get in to their system and check my license. Showing it expired in 2022. Renewed in 2021. Got a message into them to see what I have to do.
