I am trying to connect a 75mm polypropelyene pipe with pumped waste from a laboratory to a 100mm PP double contained pipe which has a gravity fall from it. What sort of connector piece should I have between them.

Should the pumped waste drop into a trapped swan neck on the gravity feed pipe so the ends are open or should a direct connection be done? I know very little about waste water hydraulics so if you could explain or direct me to a sketch that would be good.
