Waste water treatment facility

I need a good reference book on designing a treatment plant.
I am assuming a site to treat effluent from a 100 home subdivision, then 200 home suddivision then 300 home etc.
I do not have experience with gravity flow plus storm surcharge.
Any help is appreciated.

I've taught myself more than a few things out of the Metcalc & Eddy books. However, be sure and refer to the local or state regulations too but dont be afraid to "go larger" if justified by the M&E books. I've ran into situations where the BOD loadings in state regs were very low for certian sources. As you start into configuring the plant communicate with the manufacturers. They can often offer good info, just be sure you can justify and agree with what they're sayiing.

For a plant that size a manufactuer would be a good place to turn early on: Aaua Aerobics, Smith & Loveless, Orenco, Siemens / Jet Tech just to name a few.
