Hello.
Here's the situation. My father creates some plastic shaped objects out of plastic tubes and so far the cooling wasnt an issue but now since he has higher demand the issue of cooling rised through the roof.

He creates small about 32cm big and relatively large arrount 95cm figures which are then "baked' after being shaped on metal mold and put on metal shelf on 240°C for 15mins. The cooling was done in cabinet with water mist which was created with water pump (1.5kwh) for 5mins or so. Water was stored in 200L barrel but now changed to 500L one. Water temperature should be 20-25° at best but with consistently cooling stuff water temperature is stuck arround 40-45°. What should we do?

Huh?
You mean the water is recycled and thus heats up with use?
If so, get a much bigger tank or connect to water supply line.

how hot is the outside air ?

Can you have multiple drums of water (and change them out) ? how long does it take to heat up ? cool down ??

Not clear what the issue is. Why cant the molds be air dried?

now I imagine you mist the parts, and the water collects in some drain and returns to the barrel.

how about adding a heat exchanger to the return pipe ... even something simple like copper pipe running in spirals, cooled by the outside air ?

Hello mate,

It sounds like the current cooling system may not be sufficiente for the increased demand. Here are a few suggestions to consider:

1. Increase the cooling capacity. If the current system is not sufficient to cool the objects, you may need to invest in a more powerfull cooling system.

2. Increase the cooling time. Maybe if you leave the object more time in the cold, it will have the expected results.

3. Improve the water circulation. As the water temperature is getting too high, it may be due to poor circulation of the water in the cooling system. I think that improving it´s circulation may ensure good results

I hope it´s has been usefull to you. Good luck!
