Please help: I am confuse in the second part of this question attached which is as follows:
Determine the water pressure head (in m) between two soil layers if the water pressure head at top of the aquitard is 30m and the water pressure head at the bottom of the aquitard is 56m. Aquitard consist of two soil layer upper layer is 10m thick and have hydraulic conductivity = 5 x 10^-6 cm/s and lower layer is 15m thick with hydraulic conductivity of 2.5x10^-7 cm/s.
According to my understanding as all pressure head given in m as well as required is also in m therefore it is simple as
Pressure head between soil layers (from bottom) = 56+15 = 71 m
Is there anything missing or any idea how to solve this?
