Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experience regarding the maximum allowable velocity in PP-R pipes for domestic water supply.
What I'm currently using is 6 ft/s for cold water supply, and 4 ft/s for hot water supply. I'm especially doubtful about the hot water supply figure because I am actually using a value I got from a presentation done by Grundfos for domestic circulation systems so I'm starting to think that a higher value can be used for non-circulation systems because the flow is not continuous, as opposed to circulation systems where continuous flow might be harsher on the pipes.
Best Regards
