Waterhammer programs

I am looking at purchasing same fluid flow waterhammer analysis program. I would like some input from others who use these programs, basically for water and gas uses

Within our small consultancy we use AFT Impulse for waterhammer transient analysis,

specifically

however in our line of work it is only liquid use. I'm unsure if this package could handle gasses.
