Hello everyone!
I want to use a mesh in the Ansys Workbench Simulation Suite in order to apply contacts and restraints and so on. But I don't have any geometry file because the mesh is directly generated by another program.
So does anybody know how to get a mesh directly into the simulation suite, maybe by creating a geometry part from the mesh?
thx

Hi

Use the FE-modeler to make a initial geometry from your mesh. Now you will be able to get the mesh in Simulation with the associated geometry

Ok...I found it.
You have to highlight the geometry synthesis and the "initial geometry" command can be found than on the upper right menu.
It works!

Thank you very much!
