HI,

I need to download historic meterological data from a web table to Excel. I can query the table and download one month, but 32 rows down I then need to change the web page to the next year and download the new data.

The URL changes name between pages like this,
""
Is there some way to automatically grab a query, edit it to a new year and "paste" it a certain number of rows down?

I haven't found it yet and my ctrl-ins fingers are worn down to the bone. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Look at using VBA and the Microsoft Internet Transfer Control (it's in Windows/system32/msinet.ocx)
Very versatile, can handle HTTP and FTP requests. There are some examples of use at in the Office VBA section

Good Luck
