WEIGHT ESTIMATE FOR HEAT EXCHANGER 1

Hi,

could any one help with a guide or procedure to estimate the weight of shell and tube heat exchanger, air-cooled heat exchanger if the only information provided is the duty of these heat exchangers. I have the duty and weight of similar equipment on a particular plant.

Use the ratio of duty:rate of one of your known Fin-Fan Hx's. Pick one as close as possible to the unknown one.
