Hi,
I'm using the sol 200 MSC Nastran to do a sturctural optimization.
My model is made up of PSHELL and PBARL elements and the goal is to minimize the weight of the structure.
To do this I've utilized the DRESP1 WEIGHT for all the structural weight,as a objective function, but since in my model I've more property linked to different element, I need to know the weight of the single properties at the same time.
I've read in the QRG Nastran and in the optimization manual that there is a response to to this(figure1-2), but when I try to utilize it, in the file F06 appears an error message.
Can someone tell why?
Are there some limitation to use this response type?
Thanks.
Best regards
