Hello,

I am inquiring about any weld courses that may be offered through various organizations, which would cover theory, procedures, and inspection. I am looking for something that is geared more towards a design-engineering role.

I am considering ASME’s course, “Practical Welding Technology” or ASM’s “Metallurgy of Welding & Joining” or “Welding Inspection & Quality Control”. If any one has attended any of the fore mentioned courses; their input would be greatly appreciated.

Any other recommendation would also be welcomed.

Thanks
J.Roth

The ams courses are good general courses. Take a look at courses given by Lincoln Electric and ESAB
