Anybody know a welding standard for pipe joint preparation?
Any standard like ISO or other recongized norm would be appreciated.

Thanks,

In the US, ASME B16.25 is an often referenced standard for piping end preps.

thanks i will try finding it

Hi Mr 168,
For socket welding or using a "bushing with bigger diameter" to connect two pipes with fillet welding, do you know what ASME standard is related?
Thanks

Not as far as welding end preps are concerned. The individual ASME codes will address socket welding requirements as applicable though, e.g. specific fit-up requirements.

All the replies so far have transformed 'tube' into 'pipe'. It would help if we knew the size range, material, and end product; i.e., applicable code.
