Could you help me understand about differences between electrode E9015-B91-H4 and E901-B91-H4R ? The suffixes "R" is the mean moisture test in Table 11 Section II Part C AWS 5.5
I have a lot of E9015-B91-H4 on the Product label butt MTR shows E9015-B91-H4R.
How to E9015-B91-H4 can be used instead of E9015-B91-H4R.? It must revise MTR or "use as is"

Remember that all of the H4R material is H4.
I would gather from your MTR that this lot was specifically tested for the R.
It is sloppy that the label doesn't say so and it causes me to question the validity.

As per Eds comments.
Does the batch number on the packet match the MTR number ?
Many, many times over the years I have been supplied with suspect MTRs (not just third world countries either).
Supplier just sends an MTR that is " close " and hopes the pesky Quality department do not look too closely.
Using a reputable supplier removes a lot of these issues.

At the moment, I have a Job clarification with Customer requirement a question:
Is there a standard for weld shrinkage in each cases in ASME Code or equivalent Code?
Could you share some informaition.
