Welding properties Catia FEM

Hello all,

I have some doubts when I try to define my welding connection in Catia V5. Always you create a welding element between two elements, you've the possibility to select the type of the welding seam, this means:

- Rigid
- Contact
- Hexaedron
- Beam
- Rigid-spring-Rigid
- Spring-rigid-spring

I would like to ask about the differences between them (element type, DOFs...)
