Welding Software

Does anyone have any knowledge of or experience with software programs for writing and storing weld procedures for ASME and or AWS Codes?

Have both knowledge and experience on welding softwares for both AWS and ASME. Extensively worked with Welding Prowrite by CSpec/Computer Engg. Also at the time I was researching softwares, compared with Weldspec and some Norwegian software, my memory fails me again....forgot the name of the software! What are your queries though???

I prefer the C-Spec software. It covers both codes and has a great deal of information in it.

I also have some programs using MS-Access for WPS,WPQ storage that can be downloaded from my site . See

The demos require you have MSAccess 2000 or later.
