welding symbol interpretation

Dear all,
Please tell me how to interpretate the welding symbol which is red circled given in attached drawing. Especially red circled in drawing. Please guide me

My guess, a butt weld with V-preparation, 5 mm thickness, leave cap as is ( = surplus thickness, no grinding) using the mentioned rods (8013). D34 is probably the designator for that joint, it's unlikely that the pipe diameter is mentioned in a weld symbol. The 40 should be weld length, but again that is unlikely to be mentioned for pipe welds as the weld length is not variable (for a fixed diameter of course).
