I also posted this in the Metals and structural forums. I got some decent direction in the metals and a recommendation to post here in the structural forum. Any assistance is appreciated. We have a contractor that is planning to use API 5CT N80 pipe in an application that will require fillet welding some permanent plates to it. Are there any special procedures required? The 2 types of pipe are either Normalized and tempered or Quenched and tempered.
