Wells with plunger lifts and flow measurement

I'm interested in understanding what impacts plunger lifts have on subsequent measurement of the gas (orifice meter installation downstream). I'm imagining the scenarios in my head but would like an experts viewpoint and maybe some rough numbers thrown in for fun.
