Greetings.
I am consulting with a local company that stores and spreads biosolids. My survey crew did the field work on a storage lagoon and has provided me with contours. Using that information, I had no problem developing a stage-storage curve for the lagoon.
But the liner is nearing the end of its service life, and I've been asked to provide a square footage for the replacement. That's the total wetted area of the lagoon at its maximum elevation plus a bit for the berm top.
For the life of me I cannot find that information. I know that HydroCAD calculates it from other work with rain gardens, but I cannot find it.
Any advice will be appreciated.
