Some have been using NX3 for a wile now. We will be moving to nx3 soon.
I know that nx3 has irritated the longtime users of UG. One is that the biggest change is moving the menus around and making more complex icons.
I really would like your thoughts on this.
Do you like nx3? What are enhancements you like? How do you use them?
---------------
Comment about using these
Some Enhancements are
• Now you can interactively customize the main menu bar and the toolbars.
• In NX 3, you can now easily measure distances, lengths, angles, new volumes, and areas. Each new function provides a Keep Measure option allowing you to save the results of each measurement process as expressions that can be referenced by other features
• Global Selection Intent is used more
• DesignLogic is the concept of capturing the designer’s intent in the parametric model. This changes the appearance of the feature dialogues so that you can easily use and edit reference expressions and formulas.
• Associative curve and arc features
• Text to Geometry (Text) generates NX curves
