Greetings everyone,

The company I work at is currently looking for a deep hole drilling machine. I’ve been searching for some options and came across a company called CHETO.
Does anyone know if they’re trustworthy? How do their machines compare to other brands like Unisig?

Look forward to hear your inputs and recommendations.
Thanks.

Please give a scale to your adjective "deep". Inches, feet, yards, miles?

Normally it's length/diameter that's the critical factor.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

Comparing the two is like asking which dog is the best pet. One might be great today and be terrible a week from now. See if they answer questions, ask if there are any satisfied customers who can vouch for them. Go for demos that are typical of your workflow. Shortcuts in this are tough to find.

What bore size to what accuracy at what degree of straightness/cylindricity?

Drilling holes below .010" to high L/Ds is one end of a pretty black art, drilling 20m tunnels through basalt and/or granite is at the opposite end. "Ordinary" gun drills can do somewhat arbitrary depths at middlin' bore dimensions. Lasers can make very straight holes with some variation in diameter, EDMs similarly. That CNC machine looks neat; its ability to do deep hole drilling is probably more about the tool(s) it uses (gundrills with indexable inserts?).
