What does status="Normal" mean in Macro

Hi everyone, I've just started to learn macro coding for Catia and currently I still can't figure what does status = "normal" mean. I would appreciate it if someone can explain to me, thank you!

Have you read the docs? SelectElement... methods return "Normal" when a user has successfully selected an element.

Ohhhh that's why. Thank you so much for the information!!! BTW may I know what documents are you referring to? As I have tried looking for any function list document but unable to find it.
