Hey y'all,
Can anybody recommend which grade of stainless steel would work best in a lift station environment. We have guide bars, supports, etc. in the wetwell that will be subjected to hydrogen sulfide gas and other corrosive nasties.
One of my buds told me everyone likes to spec 316, which is expensive compared to what he likes, which is 304L. he says the low carbon content makes it perform better thanthe 316.
I appreciate commentary on this subject.
