If you click Forums|Watched Forums you should get a semblance of the threadminder, and the forums are, I think, in the same order as they were in the threadminder, minus all the useful headings.

I don't know.I can't find them.
Probably no activity as I doubt that many others can find them either.

I'll bet you a bologna sandwich there is going to be more 'participation', not less.

This forum has been operating on an ancient, obsolete format for literally 15 years. I guarantee you it's been driving people away.
