GFK stands for Glass reinforced plastic ( in the German language )and most of the time people use this abbreviation for epoxy or polyester with glassfibres ( or glasscloth )

Ernst
GFK stands for glass fibre reinforced plastics.
For injection molding it's used as an additve for engineering plastics (nylon, ABS, POM, PP, etc.)
The additive is between 5 and 50% of the volume.
It's makes the plastic very strong, sometimes higher percentages are stronger than steel.
Disadvantage of GFK is molds and tools wear away very fast.
Hi all , thanks all you for the helful post.
Since my post , I had visited the on site machinne and I saw that the plastic has glass fiber web or mesh all its volumen.
Up to day I can not know what plastic could it be.
The only particular tip is that it is coloured soft transparent green.
Unfortunly this machine works a 7 day week , 24 hours day, so I can not take a piece for analysis it.
Others thing I get, is that it shall resist a solution of Sodiun Nitrate 15 % in water , neutralized to Ph 7 with Nitric acid.
This piece is used at an electrolitic deburring machine.
Here in my country we can not import such spare parts from the original vendor , so we need to make this pieces local.
Our plastic vendor could supply me whit ACETAL RESIN ,
NYLON OR TEFLON.
We thougt that ERTAACETAL C could suit this porpouse.
