Hey guys,

So I'm on a project where I was told the windows won't have headers they'll be spandrels. What exactly does that mean? How are these framed?

Thank you!

Meaning the window will go all the way to the ceiling. So the spandrel is basically header but in the floor/roof space (not below floor).

Sounds like curtain wall framing. Usually those have a structure behind and the mullions are clipped to the beams.
