Statistical measures of process capability. Cp is the ratio of the total tolerance range (high -low) to 6 standard deviations without taking into account the centering of the process. Cpk takes the centering into account. It's a rather in depth subject to fully understand, way to much for a 1 minute post. Just google "process capability" and you will find lots of material.
